Book design for Hull Lighthouse Project and The Lankelly Chase Foundation as the end product to their research project with women escaping the sex trade in Hull. In the words of the Editor ”In one sense it is a cautionary tale of what can happen to exploited young people if we don’t provide the help they need at the right time. But it is also a story of hope, survival, creativity and the determination of women to overcome extreme disadvantage with very little outside help.” We collaborated with the women, photographing them and their work and giving them control over how they wanted to be represented in the book. We also produced a website to make the book available via print-on-demand and host a blog and media coverage of the project.
