Gateway Film Festival Branding

Back in 2019 we designed the logo for Peterborough’s community film festival by researching gateway shapes within local architecture, using ink to create a hand-made feel. Original designs for the poster, flyer and event programme focussed on a ticket motif but over the years we have developed the brand to showcase characters from the films themselves. After all – that’s what the festival is all about. Gateway aims to celebrate local history and community as well as being Peterborough’s gateway to film culture from the past and around the world. Every year it includes a diverse selection of titles, as well as community actions such as local film tours, Bollywood style dancers and puppet shows.
