Collaborative mural restoration

We’re so proud to have helped restore this much-loved mural in Millfield, Peterborough with Peterborough Presents. Working alongside artists Nathan Murdoch, Tony Nero, Katie Scott and Stuart Payn, it’s been a real privilege to bring the mural back to life.

Created in 1982 by artist Francis Gomilla with students from Peterborough Technical College and dedicated to City Councillor Roger Brooks, the mural had fallen into a very poor state of repair. The piece celebrates local residents and it was wonderful meeting some of the original faces during the restoration. We’re so grateful for the warm support and enthusiasm from the Millfield community – thank you for making this project so special!
