Wysing Arts Centre × Darwin Centre – Animation Workshops

We worked with Wysing Arts Centre and the Darwin Centre for Young People in Cambridge to run three hands-on animation workshops.

Over two days we explored different ways to make animation with young people. Starting with simple flipbooks and moving on to stop motion using plasticine and found objects. We also introduced 3D animation using Blender to create fun bouncing ball animations.

The workshops were relaxed drop-in sessions designed to give everyone the chance to experiment and discover how animation works, from drawing frame by frame to bringing digital 3D objects to life.
