We are thrilled to announce that we are the proud recipients of the British Mycological Society’s Massee Arts Grant 2026. We are collaborating with our good friend, poet Mark Grist, to create an animated poem explaining the wonder of fungi and showing how important they are for life. The animation will be launched as part of UK Fungus Day
It’s wonderful to have this opportunity to make work about such vitally important research and knowledge and we’re excited to have the support and expertise of the BMS to help shape and enrich the work. The combination of visual storytelling and spoken word will allow us to make complex mycological concepts easy-to-understand, encouraging curiosity among viewers who may have little or no prior knowledge of fungi.
