Encyclopedia of Us Newspaper

A ‘living newspaper’ we helped create with the people of HU3, artist @kategenever and Three Ways East. Each story in the paper is a community act and the paper drives local action forward. The first issue explores belonging, loss, anger, pride, fun, stuff to do, and tonnes of wonderful creativity from deep within the community of HU3. We created a bespoke typeface from local handwriting and added lots of hand drawn elements which give it a raw, personal feel.

Issue two of this powerful, community-produced Zine, bringing the vision of the HU3 community to life is out now. Every feature within the paper is the result of, or the the starting point point for action, empowering local people to change, celebrate  and investigate HU3

The Encyclopaedia of Us in HU3 is a newspaper like no other. It is a living newspaper…and acts as an engine to help us see, imagine and act.
